Sven Prim started his career as a Retouching Photographer. In a time when most Photographers relied on external retouchers, Sven barged on to the Swedish advertising scene straight from Photography school and made a name for himself as a one-stop-shop for advertising photography. Since then, he has collaborated with a long list of renowned clients such as ATG, Aftonbladet, RFSU and Polar Music Prize. A few years later Sven was frustrated with the limitations of the relatively simple technology “Camera and Photoshop”. He immersed himself into the world of CGI and quickly fell in love. Adding such a powerful tool to his belt made him realize that everything is possible. No matter what kind of brief a client brings to the table Sven will rarely shy away. In the realms of still imagery Sven feels comfortable creating anything from nothing. Sven describes himself as a technology geek who loves to create strange and surreal situations. This is clearly visible in his image creation, which he himself has given the epithet ‘manipulated pictures with a twist’.
