BIOGRAPHY

Big cities have always fascinated Sanna Lindberg, and she frequently uses urban imagery as dynamic backdrops in her photography. "I like it when the city and its inhabitants merge together," she explains, "when humans leave their marks on their environment, which in turn influences the people." A true vagabond, Sanna has been traveling most of her life. At the age of 15, she lived with her family in India—a formative period where she first developed her passion for photography. Her artistic journey led her to Paris, where she initially studied film and began working as a photographer's assistant. After spending seven inspiring years in France and embarking on longer trips to Argentina, Australia, South Africa, and Tokyo, Sanna is now based in Stockholm. Known for her strong sense of color and form, her imagery is sensual, poetic, and sharp. Whether she is photographing people, food, or interior design, she excels at capturing the simple and spontaneous. "My photography has evolved from a gritty documentary style to still life. Whatever I am working with, it's always important to first establish a context and then let the story continue beyond the frame," she reflects.
