BIOGRAPHY

Since graduating from Beckmans School of Design in 2004, Christina Drejenstam has built an international career in fashion, lifestyle, and beauty illustration. Her work is characterized by a clean, minimalistic style, often focusing on close-ups and intricate details. Using transparent watercolors that flow organically, she primarily works in black and white with a single accent color. "I also like to leave parts of the image unfinished, allowing the viewer to complete it," she explains. Lately, Christina finds inspiration in plant nurseries—their colors, shapes, and scents—contrasting organic elements like fallen fruit and earthy roots with the polished world of high-end perfume launches. One of her most memorable projects was designing custom upholstery for a limited-edition Renault car, with only 800 units produced. "Seeing my name engraved on the door was a surreal moment," she recalls. Her client list includes Pucci, Bloomingdale’s, Harrods, Oriflame, H&M Magazine, Damernas Värld, Kicks, Renault, Lindex, Nike, Femina, The Sunday Telegraph, Dagens Nyheter, NK Stil, and Åhléns, among many others.
